FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you only treat stress fractures?

No. Bone stress injury is the specialty and the thing this practice is known for, but the week to week caseload is runners and sporting athletes with the full range: tendons, knees, heels, muscle injuries, shin pain that turns out not to be a stress fracture, and return to sport after any of them. The same capacity versus demand thinking runs through all of it.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly. If imaging or a sports doctor is needed, that gets arranged as part of your plan.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. Many parts of bone stress injury rehab, including load planning, progression and strength, work well over telehealth.

How long until I can run again?

It depends on the bone, the grade, and your fuelling. Your plan is staged and criteria-based, so you progress when you have earned it.

What happens at the first appointment?

History, imaging review, and strength/load testing to diagnose the injury and find why it happened.

Can I see my program online?

Yes. Log in to view your programs, run plan and daily exercises any time.
